1. How do I register as a user of PRiMOS system?
 
  1. Go to https://www.primos.com.sg for registration
  2. Click on the "Register" icon
  3. Choose one of the following role for registration
    * Industry
    * Contractor (for service provider)
    * Test center (CWQS)
    * Test center (ASPRI)
    * Industry Tester
  4. Proceed by inputting the required information
  5. Click on "Submit" icon and print out the PRiMOS application and GIRO form
  6. Send it to PRiMOS Singapore Pte Ltd for approval

If the usage of PRiMOS system is for 12 skill-set & Common Welder Qualification Scheme (CWQS), the contractor will need to be an ASPRI and SWS members. 7. How to enter new worker information?
 
  1. Log in using your user ID and password given by PRiMOS Administrator
  2. Go to main menubar -> " Worker Profile" -> "Administration"
  3. Enter either the worker FIN/NRIC OR work permit number
  4. Click on "Search/Enter" to proceed
  5. Enter the required information
  6. An asterisk at the side of an entry field indicates it is a compulsory field
  7. Click on "Add worker" to proceed

Remark:
* Commencement date/employment - the date that the worker starts working in the company
* Sponsor - the company e.g MNCs that awarded the project to your company so that you bring in this woker for the project.

8. How to enter workers information in batch?
 
  1. Logon to PRiMOS using the user ID and password given by PRiMOS Administrator
  2. To download the Template for batch upload
    -> Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Batch upload"
    -> To download the Excel template for batch upload, click on "download the Excel template"
    -> Choose a directory to store the template
    -> Click on "save" to proceed
    -> Open the saved file and input the required information in the template
    -> Save the file once again
  3. To upload the worker information using the template
    -> Go to main menubar -> "Worker profile" -> "Batch upload"
    -> Browse the file
    -> Click on "Upload" (the file is uploaded to the server for processing and the result of the batch upload will be channeled to you via email)

9. How to entry an online OJT record for a worker?
 
  1. Login PRiMOS using given userid and password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "OJT" -> "Entry"
  3. Select a skill-set
  4. Enter the Instructor Name and NRIC/FIN that conduct the OJT lesson
  5. Input the NRIC/FIN number of the worker
  6. Click on "GO"
  7. Select a "module" from the drop-down list
  8. Select a "task" from the drop-down list
  9. Enter a "date" that this worker perform the module/task as selected above
  10. Input the OJT hour
  11. Click on "Submit" button (record will be captured by the system with "Submit" button executed)
  12. Click on "Clear form" for another set of OJT submission
Remark:
* OJT entry can only be performed after the worker is registered in the system. Please go to how to enter a worker information
* The skillset selected for OJT entry should be the same as entered in the worker profile module.
* The "date" enter for OJT can only start on or after the commencement date as entered in the worker profile module. For example, if the commencement date was inputted as 1 Jan 04, OJT can only start on 1 Jan or onward.
* If you want to change the commencement date, please go to how can I change the commencement date of my workers.

11. What if I have submitted a wrong test application?
  For CWQS Test:
You can make the admendments 24 hours before the test date. No charges will be incurred.

For ASPRI Test:
If ASPRI hasn't confirmed the test date, you can make the admendments anytime, no charges will be incurred.
If ASPRI has confirmed the test date, you need to fill up the User Request Form and submit to ASPRI. An administrative fee of S$100 will be charged. Additional S$200 will be incurred for cancellation of the changes.

To amend the test application, please go to "Test ->Test Booked". Click on the test application that you want to make the changes.

12. What are the steps involved for a contractor to assign welder to workshop and extend the qualification for another six months? - For welders without any assignment or been assigned to Non-PRiMOS MNCs
 
  1. Login using administrator UserId and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Assignment" -> "New Assignment"
  3. Select "Contractor" for Assign to
  4. For "Contractor " - please select own corporate name from the drop down list
  5. Under Assign Type, select "Workshop"
    - Workshop: For welder. Assign to test center/contractor workshop for qualification extension after the first six months qualifying period.
  6. Select "Welding Inspector" from the list
  7. Click on "Select Worker" after all desired parameters have been selected
  8. Select "Start Date", "End Date", "Shift" and select worker using the Checkbox
  9. Click on "Add Worker" to include workers into the assigment (selected workers will be shown)
  10. Click on the link "Remove" to remove workers from the assignment
  11. Click on "Review and Submit" after desired workers have been selected
  12. Click on "Submit Worker Assignment" to confirm and submit worker assignment
  13. To abort and re-select workers, click on "Select Workers"
  14. To view assignment, click on "Worker Assignment" - "Assignment List"
Remark:
* Welder’s qualification must be valid prior to extension. If the welder qualification has lapsed/expired after the six month qualifying period, he is required to go for another re-test. Please proceed to How to send a welder for trade test through PRiMOS? – New test application
* Please ensure that valid OPSOC certification and Registration date are furnished prior to any assignment
* Please ensure that RT taken is fall within the start date and end date of the assignment
* For example, if RT is taken on 1 Jan 04. The start date shall be 1 Jan 04 and end date shall be 2 Jan 04 for this assignment
* Please contact the respective test center for cost/charges

13. How can a CWQS test center extend a welder qualification for another six months? - For welders assign to Workshop or Non-PRiMOS MNCs
  Note: Contractor must first assign welders to workshop for welding test. Refer to steps involved for a contractor to assign welder to workshop.

Welding Inspector will be required to perform the following 3 steps
  1. Endorse on Assignment
    -> Login using Welding Inspector UserId and Password
    -> Go to main menubar -> "Worker Assignment" -> "Endorsement"
    -> Click on "Confirm" button

  2. Create RT report for the assigned welder
    -> Login using Welding Inspector UserId and Password
    -> Go to main menubar -> "Performance update" -> "RT report update"
    -> Click on "Add New" - input the RT result of the welders (For "Industry", Select "SWS-WQT)
    -> Click on "Update Report" to submit RT result
    -> Click on "Add welder" if you have more than one RT result

    Remark: RT date must be within the assignment period provided by the contractor.

  3. Extend the qualification via Performance Assessment module
    -> Go to main menubar -> "Performance update" -> Worker Assessment"
    -> Search for the welder name
    -> Double click on the searched record
    -> Select "Re-Train" or "Endorse"
    -> Click on "Update" button

    Remark:
    Welder name might not be available for selection due to the following reasons
    * The RT date does not fall within the assignment period.
    * The welder does not hold the test position as indicated in the RT report e.g SMAW/GTAW
    * Select "Re-train" to send the welder for another re-test
    * Select "Endorse" to extend the welder qualification for another six months

    User might not be able to "Endorse" on the welder record due to the following reasons
    * 30 days grace period from endorsement is over
    * The welder qualification has expired after the 7 days grace period.
    * 7 days grace period is given for qualification extension from the welder actual qualification expiry date. For example, if welder qualification is expiring on 1 Feb 04, his qualification must be extended on the 8 Feb 04, the latest
    * 30 days grace period is given for qualification extension from assignment expiry date. For example, if assignment period end at 1 Jan 04, endorsement must be performed by 1 Feb 04

14. How to terminate a worker record?
 
  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to update this worker" (on top of the page)
  6. Go to "Termination Date" entry field (scroll all the way down to the end of the page)
  7. Select a date from the calendar (a current date must be selected, termination date cannot be backdated)
  8. Click on "Update" button

15. How to update the pre-qualification(s) record of a worker
 
  1. Login using administrator userid and password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to add pre-qualification(s) for this workers" (on the top left side of the page)
  6. Select a "Skillset" from the drop down list
  7. Select a "Test Date" from the calendar
  8. Input the certificate number furnished by ITE/welding test center
  9. Select a "Cert Issue Date" from the calendar
  10. Click on "Add" button

With this, information will be sent to ASPRI (12 Skillset) / SWS (welding) for approval and endorsement. Contractor will receive an email on the approval status e.g rejected or accepted on the pre-qualification submission

16. How to send a welder for trade test through PRiMOS ? – New test application
 
  1. The contractors must be a SWS Members.Go to http://www.sws.org.sg to register as a member.
  2. The contractors must also be a PRiMOS user.Go to http://www.primos.com.sg to register as an user
  3. The worker's record must be in the sytem before a test application can be performed. To add a new worker's record in the system, please refer to How to enter new worker information
  4. Book a test via the system by performing the following
    ->Logon the system
    ->Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test application"
    ->Go to "Test Center" – (select it from the drop down list)
    ->Go to "Test date" – (user to decide)
    ->Go to "Test time" – (user to decide)
    ->Go to "Test Location" – Select Test center /Workshop/Others*
    ->Click on "Enter" button (A list of welders’ name will be shown)
    ->Select a Test number – selection happen when test number is highlighted in "blue"
    ->Click on "Accept" button to confirm the test application
    -> A "Test application confirmation" screen will appear
    -> Check all details and click on "Confirm" button to confirm the test (click on "Cancel Test" for no action)

With this, an email will be sent to test center selected by the user as above and the test center will confirm the test application via the system.

Remark:
* To have multiple test No applications, user will have to press "CTRL" & "Click on the right mouse" simultaneously
* The earliest test date must be one day after the test application date.
* Users have to check with the test center in regard to which test number to use for low levy conversion

* Test Center - denotes test will be conducted at destinated test center
* Workshop - denotes test will be conducted at contractor's place
* Other - denotes test will be conducted at Industry's place

17. How to send a worker for a test through PRiMOS?
 
  1. The contractors must be an ASPRI Members.Click on http://www.aspri.com.sg to register as a member
    The contractors must also be a PRiMOS user.Click on http://www.primos.com.sg to register as a user
  2. The following criteria must be furnished prior to test application
    * The worker data must be inside the system. Please proceed to "How to enter new worker information ?"
    * The worker must complete 100% on the job training (OJT) in at least 3 months duration. Please proceed to "How to entry the OJT record in the system ?"
    * The worker must have a valid work permit
  3. Book a test via the system by performing the following
    ->Logon the system
    ->Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test application"
    ->Go to "ASPRI Test"
    ->Click on the arrow to retrieve the test schedule for particular month
    ->Test dates in "Blue" are available for test application.
    ->Test dates in "Black" are closed for test booking
    ->Click on the test date as required
    ->Worker’s name will be shown in the list for test application
    ->Click on the "square box" to select the candidate for test
    ->Click on "Select Candidate" to confirm test application
    ->Go to "Test" ->"Test Booked (App) or Test Booked (Date) " to view your test application

With this, an email will be sent to test center/ASPRI that a test application has been performed.

Remark:
Worker’s name might not be available in the list for selection due to the following reasons
* Worker does not have a valid work permit
* Worker has not completed his 100% OJT in at least 3 month duration
* Worker is not registered in the system
* Worker’s skillset registered in the system does not match with the skillset in accordance to the test date selection.
* Active/unconfirm- Denotes ASPRI open the test date for test booking, pending for final confirmation
* Cancelled - Denotes ASPRI cancels the test date
* Full - Denotes test capacity has been fully taken up
* Pending - Denotes
test date is still under pending status and subjects to ASPRI final confirmation

18. How can I change the commencement date of my workers?
 
Users are not allowed to change the commencement date for their workers.
Users are to send an email to info@imos.com.sg with the following information to PRiMOS administrator to make the amendments
- Worker Name
- NRIC/FIN/Work permit
- Company name
- New commencement date to be

21. How to use the OJT batch upload?
 
  1. Download the OJT template for respective skillset (eg. Electrical Fitter). Template can be obtained from OJT module
  2. For every OJT records, key in the NRIC/FIN, Skillset, Module No, Task Name, Instructor and Training Time. Please note that you must follow the data format:
    - All data field must be in "Text" format.
    To format the cell as "Text", select the whole spreadsheet by pressing Ctrl-A, then right click the mouse, select "Format Cells". On the "Number" tab, change the "Category" to "Text".
    - NRIC/FIN : key in format e,g "F1234567A". (compulsory)
    - Skillset: The skillset name, as stated in the excel template. (compulsory)
    - Module No : The Module ID, as stated in the excel template (compulsory)
    - Task Name : The task name, as stated in the excel template. (compulsory)
    - Instructor : The instructor name. (compulsory)
    - Training Time : Key in as "Date TimeFrom TimeTo HoursCompleted". "DD/MM/YYYY HHHH HHHH H" (E.g. 19/03/1996 1700 1800 1). (compulsory)
  3. Make sure the worksheet name is "Sheet1". Please use only one worksheet for multiple worker’s OJT records
  4. "Hours Completed" should be in whole number e.g 1,2,5,8
  5. All columns and rows must be filled up. please delete unwanted tasks/modules before uploading the file
  6. Save the Excel Template e.g OJTentry
  7. Login using administrator userid and password
  8. Go to "OJT -> Batch Upload"
  9. "Browse" the file that you have saved e.g OJTentry
  10. Click on "Upload" button
  11. The result of the batch upload will be displayed. Please be patient and do not cancel or resubmit the file when it is still under processing. The response time will depends on the number of records that you have submitted, more records will require more time to process.

22. How to update OPSOC record and OPSOC expiry date of the worker?
 

How to update OPSOC and OPSOC expiry date of the workers

  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to update this worker" (at the top left hand side of the screen)
  6. Go to "OPSOC Certification No" and input the certification number
  7. Go to "OPSOC expiry Date" and select a date from the calender
  8. Click on "Update" button
  9. Click on "Reset" button to see instant updated information on OPSOC

Remark:
* Certification No must be furnished first followed by the OPSOC registration date.
* System will automatically calculate the OPSOC expiry date of three years base on the given registration date.

How to update and add in new skillset of a worker

  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to update this worker" (at the top left hand side of the screen)
  6. Go to "Skillset" header
  7. Check the box to add in new skillset of the worker /Uncheck the box to remove a skillset
  8. Click on "Update" button to confirm the changes
  9. Click on "Reset" button to see instant updated information on worker skillset

23. How to update work permit validity and current sponsorship of the workers?
 

How to update work permit validity

  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to update this worker"
  6. Go to "Work permit expiry date" and select a date from the calendar
  7. Click on "Update" button to confirm the new expiry date
  8. Click on "Reset" button to see instant updated expiry date on the screen

Remark:
Worker work permit validity date must be updated before the actual expiry date. If work permit has expired, worker record will be terminated. To re-activate a terminated record, please go to how to reactivate a terminated record - worker that belong to you

How to update the current sponsorship of the workers

  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List"
  3. Search for the worker
  4. Click on the searched record
  5. Go to "Click here to update this worker"
  6. Go to "Sponsor" field (at the end of the page)
  7. Select a name from the drop-down list.
  8. If name cannot be obtained from drop-down list, select "Others" and key in the name of the company that sponsored the workers .
  9. Click on "Update" button to confirm the changes
  10. Click on "Reset" button to remain at the same page and view what you have updated on the screen

24. How to re-activate a terminated record – worker that belong to you?
 
  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to "Worker Profile" -> "Administration"
  3. Input "NRIC/Fin number" of the worker
  4. Click on "Enter" button
  5. A "Terminated worker employment request" form will appear
  6. Click on "Proceed" (commencement date must be current date, no backdated is allowed)
  7. Go to "Worker Profile" -> "Worker List" (for point 7 to 14, it is to update the worker personal particular)
  8. Search for the worker name that you have re-activated
  9. Click on the searched record
  10. Go to "Click here to update this worker" (at the top left hand side of the screen)
  11. For work permit update, go to "Work permit expiry date" and update the work permit validity from the calendar
  12. For OPSOC update, go to "OPSOC Certification No" and "OPSOC expiry Date" to update the necessary information
  13. For citizenship update, go to "Citizenship" and click on the new citizenship status. In additional , remove the work permit number from the "work permit field"
  14. Click on "Update" button to confirm the new changes

Remark:
* Commencement date of the worker must be current and cannot be backdated. To change the commencement date, please refer to how can I change the commencement date of my workers?

25. How to perform a worker transfer request (e.g request worker from another contractor)?
 
  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to "Worker Profile" -> "Administration"
  3. Input the "NRIC/FIN No" OR "Work Permit Number" of the worker that you want to transfer
  4. You will see a screen indicating "Worker Transfer Request"
  5. The employment date is set as default of 5 working day from date of request.
  6. Click on "Submit" button to send out the transfer request
Remark:
* User is classified as requesting contractor in this scenario
* The employment date is set as default of 5 working days from date of request
* The approving contractor will receive an email once the submit button is entered
* The employment date can be brought forward by the approving contractor only
* Once the request is approved, the worker record will be transferred to the requesting contractor. This is a change in employment status. The requesting contractor will need to pay $1.00 per month of this worker's record residing in the database (with effect from the approve date)

26. How to approve a worker transfer request e.g transfer worker to another contractor?
 
  1. Login using administrator userid and password.
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Profile" -> "Transfer approval"
  3. Go to "Start Date" and select a date of approval. Approval date can be today OR a future date
  4. Select "Approve" to transfer the worker to requesting contractor
  5. Select "Reject" to decline the transfer request from requesting contractor (worker will not be transferred)
  6. Click on "Submit" button

Remark:
* User is classified as approving contractor in this scenario
* The employment date is set as default of 5 working days from date of request
* Requesting contractor will receive an email once the submit button is entered
* With the "Approve" button executed, the worker's record will be transferred to the requesting contractor. This is a change in employment status. The worker's record will be transferred to the requesting contractor and the approving contractor shall stop paying the monthly charges for this worker (

  1. Login using administrator UserId and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Assignment" -> "New Assignment"
  3. Select "Industry" for Assign to
  4. For "Industry" – please select an Industry for the drop down list
  5. For "project code" – please select from the drop down list
  6. For "Job Category" – please select from the drop down list
  7. For "Location" – please select from the drop down list
  8. Click on "Select Worker" after all desired parameters have been selected
  9. Select "Start Date", "End Date", "Shift" and select worker using the Checkbox
  10. Click on "Add Worker" to include workers into the assigment (selected workers will be shown)
  11. Click on the link "Remove" to remove workers from the assignment
  12. Click on "Review and Submit" after desired workers have been selected
  13. Click on "Submit Worker Assignment" to confirm and submit worker assignment

Workers’ name might not be available for selection due to the following reasons
* The worker’s OPSOC certificate number and registration date have not been provided. Please proceed to how to update OPSOC record and OPSOC expiry date of the worker?
* The worker’s occupation is not provided (if OPSOC is not provided).
* The worker work permit has expired. Please proceed to how to update work permit validity of a worker?
* The welder qualification has expired or lapsed after the six month certification
* A welder must be skilled and passed a trade test in order to perform an assignment

28. How to perform a worker assignment to Contractor?
 
  1. Login using administrator UserId and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Worker Assignment" -> "New Assignment"
  3. Select "Contractor" for Assign to
  4. For "Contractor " - please select a contractor for the drop down list
  5. Under Assign Type, select "Job", "Resident" or "Workshop"
    - Job: Assign to another contractor workplace for job basis and normally for a short period of time.
    - Resident: Assign to another contractor workplace for long term.
    - Workshop: For welder. Assign to test center/contractor workshop for qualification extension after the first six months qualifying period.
  6. If "Workshop", select "Welding Inspector" from the list
  7. Click on "Select Worker" after all desired parameters have been selected
  8. Select "Start Date", "End Date", "Shift" and select worker using the Checkbox
  9. Click on "Add Worker" to include workers into the assigment (selected workers will be shown)
  10. Click on the link "Remove" to remove workers from the assignment
  11. Click on "Review and Submit" after desired workers have been selected
  12. Click on "Submit Worker Assignment" to confirm and submit worker assignment
  13. To abort and re-select workers, click on "Select Workers"
  14. To view assignment, click on "Worker Assignment" - "Assignment List"
Remark:
Workers' name might not be available for selection due to the following reasons
* The worker's OPSOC certificate number and registration date have not been provided. Please proceed to how to update OPSOC record and OPSOC expiry date of the worker?
* The worker work permit has expired. Please proceed to how to update work permit validity of a worker?
* The welder qualification has expired or lapsed after the six months certification
* A welder must be skilled and passed a trade test in order to perform an assignment
* An unskilled worker performing on job training, carrying skill-set like thermal insulation, pipe fitting etc can perform an assignment once he is registered in the system

29. How to ensure welder’s qualification is monitored and keep up to date before the actual expiry date?
  There are two scenarios :
  1. For welders that are sponsored and worked in Multi-National Companies, welder qualification can be monitored and extended every six months by the MNC’s Industry Welding Inspector OR designated Test center assigned by the MNCs (this is normally known as performance update) However, an assignment to worksite will be required for the MNCs to capture the welder’s record for qualification extension. Please proceed to How to perform a worker assignment to Multi-National Companies?
  2. For welders that are sponsored and worked in Non Multi-National Companies/Non PRiMOS user, welder qualification can be extended via assignment to workshop before the actual qualification expiry date. Please proceed to What are the steps involved for a contractor to assign welder to workshop and extend the qualification for another six months?

30. How to view/retrieve and print the OJT records (in excel format) that a worker has completed?
 
  1. Login PRiMOS using given userID and password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "OJT" -> "Enquiry"
  3. Enter either "NRIC/FIN No" or "Worker Name" or "Skillset" to search for a worker
  4. Click on the worker name to retrieve OJT record
  5. Click on "Export to excel" to save and print OJT record in A4 format

31. How to know what are the outstanding modules/task a worker has not completed ?
 
  1. Logon PRiMOS using given userID and password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "OJT" -> "Entry"
  3. Select a skill-set
  4. Enter the Instructor Name and NRIC/FIN that conduct the OJT lesson
  5. Input the NRIC/FIN number of the worker
  6. Click on "GO" button

* Modules/tasks in the drop down list are those outstanding OJT that a worker must complete prior to a test application

32. How to edit an OJT record of a worker?
 
  1. Logon PRiMOS using given userID and password
  2. Go to main menubar "OJT" -> "Modify"
  3. Enter either "NRIC/FIN No" or "Worker Name" or "Skillset" to search for a worker
  4. Click on the worker name to retrieve OJT record
  5. To delete an OJT entry, go to the particular module/task and check the box under column "Del"
  6. Click on "Update" button to confirm deletion
  7. "Date", "Time From" and "Time To" of all modules/tasks as shown in the list can be changed accordingly
  8. Click on "Update" button to confirm amendments
Remark:
* The "date" enter for OJT can only start on or after the commencement date as entered in the worker profile module. For example, if the commencement date was inputted as 1 Jan 04, OJT can only start on 1 Jan or onward. If your want the commencement date, please go to how can I change the commencement date of my workers?

33. How to edit an OJT instructor name ?
 
  1. Logon PRiMOS using given uerid and password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "OJT" -> "Modify"
  3. Enter either "NRIC/FIN No" or "Worker Name" or "Skillset" to search for a worker
  4. Click on the worker name to retrieve OJT record
  5. Go to "Instructor" field and update the name accordingly
  6. Click on "Update" button to confirm amendments

34. I have submitted a welder test application. The test center has acknowledged and confirmed the test date. Can I make changes to the test application?
 

Yes. You can make changes to a test application even though test center has acknowledged and confirmed the test date.

The test date must not be over. In other words, the test date must still be a valid one and not expired

To add in another test no for a candidate (multiple test application e.g P1A-1A1 & P43A-1A1)

  1. Logon the system
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test Book (App)"
  3. Double click on the test application ID
  4. Go to the desired candidate name
  5. Look into the "Test No" - Previously selected test no will be highlighted in Blue
  6. To add in another test No, press CTRL and select the new test no
  7. Check that both test nos are highlighted in blue
  8. Click on "Update" button
  9. Another screen will appear, click on "Confirm" button

To change test no for a candidate (P1A-1A1 to P1A-2A3)

  1. Logon the system
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test Book (App)"
  3. Double click on the test application ID
  4. Go to the desired candidate name
  5. Look into the "Test No" - Previously selected test no will be highlighted in blue
  6. Select the new test number to be
  7. Check that only the new test no is highlighted in blue
  8. Click on "Update" button
  9. Another screen will appear, click on "Confirm" button

To remove candidate name from the test application

  1. Logon the system
  2. Go to main menubar -> " Test" -> "Test book (App)"
  3. Double click on the test application ID
  4. Go to the desired candidate name
  5. Check the box under the "remove" column
  6. Click on "Update" button
  7. Another screen will appear, click on "Confirm" button to remove candidate
To add new candidate name into an existing test application
  1. Logon the system
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test book (App)"
  3. Double click on the test application ID
  4. Click on "Add candidate" button
  5. A list of welder names will be appear for selection
  6. Click on "Accept" button after selection
  7. Another screen will appear, click on "Confirm" button to send out test application

To change the test date

  1. Logon the system
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Test" -> "Test book (App)"
  3. Double click on the test application ID
  4. Go to the "test date" column, click on the Calender to change the desired test date
  5. Click on "Accept" button after selection
  6. Another screen will appear, click on "Confirm" button to send out test application

Remark:
* New test Nos will be added and test center will receive a "modify" test application via email
* Test center shall acknowledge on the "modify" test application
* Email will be sent to applicant once test center has endorsed on the modified test application

35. How to perform a worker de-assignment?
  De-assignment can only be performed when workers currently have a valid and active assignment in the system
  1. Logon using administrator Userid and passoword
  2. Go to main menu bar "Worker Assignment - Assignment Listing"
  3. Check the box for "Active" assignment and click "Search" (A list of active assignment will be displayed)
  4. Select the desired workers and click on the checkbox against the name.
  5. Click on "De-assign"
  6. Click on "Ok" to confirm de-assignment
  7. To view de-assignment, go to "Worker Assignment - Assignment Listing", check the box for "Inactive" assignment and click "Search" (A list of inactive assignment will be displayed)

36. How to pick up a terminated worker from the terminated pool – worker that belongs to a past employer?
 
  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> “Worker Profile” -> “Administration"
  3. Key in “Worker Fin No” OR “Work permit No”
  4. Click on “Enter”
  5. A screen with “Terminated Worker Employment Request” will be shown
  6. Please confirm the worker name, NRIC and click on “Proceed” button
  7. Go to menubar “Worker Profile -> “Worker List” to check on worker record
  8. Should you want to change the worker information, please approach to “how to update worker information
Remark:
* Should the past employer terminate the worker record today, the new employer can only pick up the worker from the terminated pool on the following day
* For example, if contractor A terminates the worker on 15 Feb 2005, contractor B can only pick up this worker from the terminated pool on 16 Feb 2005

37. How to manage user account(s) in PRiMOS? - (Contractor Role)
  To add new user account
  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "User Management" -> "User Account"
  3. Go to "Add new" button
  4. Input "UserID" - (user to decide)
  5. Input "Name" - (user to decide)
  6. Input "Password" - (user to decide)
  7. Confirm your password once again
  8. Input "Email Address"
  9. Select "Contractor" for group type
  10. Select "Admin" or "User" for subtype (Admin user will have the access right to all the modules. User will have limited access as indicated in the user accessibility listing)
  11. Select "Active"' for status
  12. Click on "Submit" button to add in the new account

To terminate an existing user account

  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "User Management" -> "User Account"
  3. Go to the "Name" column and double click on the user name you should to terminate
  4. Select "Suspended" for status
  5. Click on "Submit" button to confirm the termination

To update an existing user account

  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "User Management" -> "User Account"
  3. Go to the "Name" column and double click on the user name you want to update
  4. You can change the name, password, email address, group type, subtype and user status
  5. Click on "Submit" button to confirm the changes

40.. For billing, where can I get a list of worker that was charged for a particular month?
 
  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "Billing" -> "Invoice"
  3. Click on the desired Invoice No to view details
  4. Go to subscription fee session and click on "Worker Subscription Fee"
  5. A list of worker that was charged for that particular month will be shown

Remark;
* Worker subscription fee is charged at $1.00/month/worker (with effect from July 2005 usage)
* Worker subscription fee is not pro-rated.
* With a worker's record added to the system today and stays till 1am on the following day, he will be charged at a full rate of $1.00 for that particular month.
* For example, if a worker is added to the system on 9 May and terminated at 12.55am on the next day e.g 10 May, he will not be charged
* However, if a worker is added to the system on 9 May and terminated on 1:00am or 1:05am on the next day , this worker will be charged

41 How to add in Admin&Management staff via Staff Profile?
 

To download the file for staff entry

  1. Logon using administrator Userid and Password
  2. Go to main menubar -> "S. profile" -> "Batch upload"
  3. Click on "here" to download the excel template
  4. Save the excel template e.g Template-StaffInfo

To enter the staff particulars

  1. Open up the template that you have saved
  2. Input the following compulsory parameters
    - NRIC (for Singapore) Or
    - Work permit Number , Work permit issue date & Exipry (for Non-Singaporean)
    - Name
    - Occupation (use the digiti value - to retrieve the value, click on the red triangle at the subject header)
    - Nationality (same as above)
    - Citizenship (same as above)
  3. Make sure the worksheet name is "Sheet1".
  4. Date format is dd-mmm-yyyy e.g 01-Jan-2005
  5. Save the excel template e.g Template-StaffInfo

To upload the staff particulars to the PRiMOS system

  1. Login using administrator userid and password
  2. Go to "S. Profile" -> "Batch Upload"
  3. "Browse" the file that you have saved e.g Template-StaffInfo
  4. Click on "Upload" button
  5. The result of the batch upload will be displayed. Please be patient and do not cancel or resubmit the file when it is still under processing. The response time will depends on the number of records that you have submitted, more records will require more time to process.

42. How do I access Primos using Internet Explorer 8 or above?
  Internet Explorer 8 has provided more privacy and security features. To access Primos using Internet Explorer 8 or above, please follow the following instruction.
  1. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Compatibility View Settings, Add "primos.com.sg" to the compatibility websites.
  2. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted sites -> Sites, Add "*.primos.com.sg" to the trusted websites.
  3. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -> Pop-up Blocker -> Settings (if Pop-up Blocker is enabled), Add "*.primos.com.sg" to the allowed websites.
  4. When browsing the primos website, if the IE displays the "Security Warning" tab "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely", please click on "No".

If the above settings does not work, an alternate option is to reset all the security settings to default level.
  1. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Reset all zones to default level.
  2. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -> Default.
  3. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -> Pop-up Blocker -> Do NOT select "Turn on Pop-up Blocker"
  4. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Restore advanced setttings
  5. At Internet Explorer 8 toolbar, Tools -> Compatibility View Settings -> Select "Display all websites in Compatibility View"

43. How to extend a worker assignment?
 
  1. Login using administrator UserID and Password
  2. Go to main menu bar "Worker Assignment - Assignment Listing"
  3. Check the box for "Active" assignment and click "Search" (A list of active assignment will be displayed)
  4. Select the desired workers and click on the checkbox against the name.
  5. Click on "Extend"
  6. Select a date from the calendar and click on "Extend" (Assignment will be extended)

Remark;
* Extension can only be performed if welder's qualification has not expired.
* Assignment date must be a valid date.
